Think of a place that’s part Halloweentown, part Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls, with a little sprinkle of college campus. What immediately dragged me into this book is the utterly charming setting. Truly, what else could you ask for in October? Y’all I am shocked to report back that this is one of the most deightful seasonal books I’ve read in awhile! But that wasn’t a real spell and his showing up in Graves Glen couldn’t have anything to do with it … right? Except for that one time, 9 years ago, when she hexed her ex.
